The Honda Pilot has always been the vehicle that can handle anything your family needs, and the 2016 model is coming soon. We're really excited about this vehicle, and are ready bring you a sneak peak into some of the features that it has to offer. With a stunning new exterior design, two different seating layouts, incredible safety features, and Honda Sensing driving technology, the 2016 Honda Pilot is the ultimate vehicle to handle anything life throws your way.
The exterior of the 2016 Honda Pilot has been completely redesigned and it is one awesome looking SUV. The sleek new styling borrows design elements from the Honda CR-V and the Honda HR-V, while refusing to sacrifice the space and versatility the that Honda Pilot is known for. Inside the Pilot you'll find a sleek cabin design that is on par with the exterior. The interior manages to look great without sacrificing functionality or space.
The 2016 Honda Pilot is one spacious SUV. With three rows of seats, the Pilot can seat 8 people comfortably and still have room for a cooler or some gear in the back. If you choose the Pilot Elite, the second row of seats becomes two very comfortable captain's chairs which can fold down with one touch. The Elite and Touring editions also come standard with Honda's 9-speed automatic transmission, which has gear changes so seamless you wont even notice them happening.
Honda has always been committed to meeting the strictest safety standards, and we're excited to announce that the Honda Sensing system is available on the 2016 Honda Pilot. Honda Sensing is a suite of available safety features that actively monitor your vehicle while you drive, in order to protect you from any potential hazards. Included is the Lane Departure Warning which alerts the driver if they happen to unintentionally drift from their lane into another. Lane Keeping Assist System works with the Lane Departure Warning, and will keep your 2016 Pilot in the correct lane if it is unsafe to change lanes. LaneWatch is an active blind spot monitoring system, that activates when you use your blinker. LaneWatch uses cameras to display your blind spot on the screen, and shows four times the view that a conventional side mirror provides. Lastly, Collision Mitigation Braking System will first alert you to any potential hazards in front of your vehicle while you are driving, and even apply the breaks if it determines that there is a possibility of a collision.
With the upcoming arrival of the 2016 Honda Pilot other car manufacturers are going to have to step up their game, because this SUV is all excellent all around.
