Stockton Honda Teams Up With Clean Cars 4 All!
Stockton Honda, proudly serving Modesto, Elk Grove, Lodi, Sacramento, and Stockton, is thrilled to announce our partnership with Clean Cars 4 All (CC4A). This incentive program, available to income-qualified Sacramento residents, provides financial assistance for retiring older vehicles and replacing them with zero or near-zero emission vehicles or electric bikes. Eligible participants may receive up to $12,000, depending on income and transportation needs, to purchase or lease a new or used qualifying vehicle. Alternatively, participants can choose an electric bike instead. CC4A is part of California Climate Investments, a statewide initiative aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving public health, and benefiting disadvantaged communities by leveraging Cap-and-Trade funds.

CC4A empowers Californians, regardless of income, to transition to cleaner vehicles and experience the benefits of cleaner air and cost savings that come with them. California is dedicated to cutting greenhouse gas emissions by 40% below 1990 levels by 2030 and 80% below 1990 levels by 2050. Reducing emissions from the transportation sector is crucial to achieving these goals, as this sector accounts for 40% of California's total emissions.
Air Quality in Disadvantaged Communities
Disadvantaged communities are disproportionately affected by pollution from gasoline use and production. These neighborhoods are often situated near high-traffic roads and highways, subjecting residents to harmful levels of emissions. Prolonged exposure to this pollution leads to increased rates of asthma, cancer, and other health issues, raising healthcare costs and causing more missed days at school and work.
Savings on Fuel and Maintenance
Switching to electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles can lead to significant savings, as electricity costs are much lower than gasoline. Additionally, clean vehicles have fewer moving parts, resulting in less maintenance compared to traditional gas or diesel engines.
